CROSS-DISCIPLINARY APPROACH TO MEDICAL EDUCATION
Abstract
Medical education has traditionally been structured within rigid disciplinary boundaries, with a primary focus on biomedical sciences, clinical practice, and patient care. However, the evolving complexities of healthcare demand an interdisciplinary approach that integrates insights from various fields, such as technology, humanities, engineering, and social sciences. A cross-disciplinary approach to medical education enhances the learning experience, fosters innovation, and ultimately improves patient outcomes [1].
