Abstract

The Great Silk Road, a network of ancient trade routes connecting East and West, has played a significant role in the growth and development of logistics services. This article aims to explore the significance of the Silk Road in the expansion of logistics services and its impact on the modern business landscape. Using a combination of historical and contemporary literature, this study delves into the origins and evolution of the Silk Road, highlighting its importance in facilitating trade and cultural exchange between civilizations. It also examines the various factors that led to the decline of the Silk Road and its subsequent revival in recent years. Furthermore, this research investigates the current state of logistics services along the Silk Road, analyzing the key players, infrastructure, and challenges faced in the region.
