Abstract

Metabolic syndrome (MS) is a cluster of disorders that include obesity, hyperglycemia, hypertriglyceridemia, hypertension, and a decrease in high - density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL). The development of steatogepatitis is strongly associated with metabolic syndrome, with several symptoms of metabolic syndrome found in about 90% of patients with Steatogepatitis and three or more criteria found in about 33%. Here, the development, spread and therapeutic approaches of the disease are considered. Lipotoxicity plays a key role in the pathophysiology of disease development in the body.
