Abstract

Khaled Hosseini’s works, including The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and And the Mountains Echoed, depict complex father figures who influence the personal and emotional development of their children. His narratives explore themes of fatherhood, masculinity, sacrifice, generational trauma, and moral conflict. This study examines the portrayal of fathers in Hosseini’s novels and their impact on the protagonists' lives.
