Abstract

Suggestopedia, a unique language teaching method developed by Bulgarian educator Georgi Lozanov in the 1970s, utilizes the principles of suggestion and the relaxation of the subconscious mind to enhance language acquisition. This article explores the theory behind Suggestopedia, its practical application in the classroom, its effectiveness, and the criticisms it has faced over time. The method integrates music, a relaxed learning environment, and the active participation of both teachers and students, aiming to facilitate an accelerated and enjoyable learning process.
