Mazkur maqolada o‘zbek xalq og‘zaki ijodi hamda yozma adabiyotida, xususan, dostonlarda uchraydigan an’anaviy obraz – do‘st obrizini Alisher Navoiyning “Layli va Majnun” dostonidagi talqiniga alohida to‘xtab otiladi, ya’ni Navfalning hamda avom ishqiga xos bo‘lgan Ibn Salomning asar g‘oyasini yoritishdagi xususiyati tahlil qilinadi.
